Tater Tot Casserole


1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 medium yellow onion chopped
3 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon creole seasoning
1/2 cup sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (12 oz) can whole kernel corn (drained)
1 (12 oz) can green beans (drained)
2 cups shredded cheddar (divided)
32 oz bag frozen tater tots
Salt & pepper to taste


Heat oven to 375

Brown the ground beef in a skillet with onions. Drain the fat when done

Add garlic, creole seasoning, and Worcestershire and cook for 1 minute

Reduce heat and add sour cream, soup, corn, green beans, and 1 cup of cheese. Stir completely and heat through

Transfer to a 9×13 casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Spread evenly

Cover with single layer of tots and bake in top 1/3 of over for 35 minutes

Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining cup of cheese (or more if you like) and return to oven for 10 minutes.

** Check the casserole periodically to make sure it isn’t burning.
